Yesterday went down to Southbank for coffee after my evening class.i didnt want to go home as yet and was thinking of going out for coffee and just chilling at one place and fariz suggested this new place there called Chez Laila.well,its not actually new but its new to me.i have never been to that particular side of southbank before.we always go to west end for 3 monkeys but this is not bad.its a lebanese style restaurant.it was fabulous. cosy ambience coz its by brisbane river,great company and.....eye candies in the form of the waiters.
there was this particular waiter who i find super sweet looking...its hard for me to call other than malay guys sweet but this guy is just that....very sweet looking...i dunno how to describe him but i just cant keep my eyes of him...everytime he walk past by...i just have to sigh...
anyway,my guy frens teased me abt it and believe it or not,i was blushing red...hahaha.....aziz even offered to ask the guy to take a pic with me but of coz,i had to vehemently tell him no....though deep down i want it but i was so malu sey.sighs...wasted chance....but it was an occasion that left me smiling all the way home.it was a nice feeling.
oh ya,guess who i met there?faizah...yes,sweet faizah from tkg.small world huh?she is currently taking political science in uni of queensland.mussy did mentioned to me the other day when i bumped into her but she told me faizah was studying in QUT but its actually UQ.its been a while since i met her and she has bloomed very well. still sweet looking but much much prettier..she happens to be a fren of ridzuan in UQ.there was 3 other frens with her.they came to 'abduct' wan away from the grp.there was dian,mohd nor and another guy whom unfortunately i did not catch the name...oh,we got kerepek pedas coming out from them too....yummy!
today we went down to park road to pay the park road dwellers a visit since me and nir never been there before.it was a 4 bedroom queenslander.spacious and its very kampungy feeling....reminds me of my beloved jalan senang house.they have this space under the house and when i was there,i got reminded of the time when i would go down to the space under my house and just ran ard with my cousins.
the four bachelors cook us nasi lemak.aziz made the sambal,ridzuan made the eggs,fariz goreng ayam and zan did the chap choy.they had this long tabletop to work on. so me and nir just sort of look over the counter as the guys work away on our lunch.it was not bad at all.
anyway,we played a board game after that called SCotland Yard.kind of cool game...i have never played it before but then again,im not one who grew up with board games and all this and found this fascinating...
all in all it was a very lazy sat.....hmm...whose house next to go to next week?nur and wiyah's?how abt it nur?:)
